Biography

Hello friends!
My name is Darko Dragić. I was born on March 25, 1998. in Banja Luka. I finished elementary and secondary electrical engineering school 'Nikola Tesla' in Banja Luka. I am currently studying for a master's degree at the Faculty of Philology of the University of Banja Luka at the Department of Italian Language and Literature. In addition to college, I write, act and shoot short films. So far, I have published two crime fiction novels ('Protocol: Banja Luka', 2014 and 'Roman Conspiracy', 2019). In addition to this genre, I also write poetry. I also shot several short films, one of which received a special mention from the jury at the Sarajevo Film Festival in 2016 in the 'TeenAction' category. In addition to the Sarajevo Film Festival, I participated in film festivals in Zagreb, Belgrade and Benkovac. What I still find are languages and some hobbies. I speak Italian and English fluently. In my free time, I ride a bike, swim, play tennis and basketball and take photos.

2022

Started work on the 'Plot Twist' project.

2021

Before leaving for studies in Italy, I participated in the filming of the TV series 'Advokado'.

2020

I participated in the filming of the TV series 'Hotel Balkan'.

2019

I published the book 'The Roman Conspiracy', which is a sequel to the novel 'Protocol: Banja Luka'. In addition to the published novel, I participated in the filming of the TV series - 'Bones'. Also, I started working on a script for my new short film.

2018

A very successful year for me, because I finished writing the sequel to 'Protocol: Banja Luka', and playing the play 'Purim' in the Youth Center Banja Luka. Also, I participated in the filming of a commercial for Nektar beer and in the filming of a short student film as well as a music video.

2016

I would single out this year for the work on the sequel to the book 'Protocol: Banja Luka', as well as the filming of the film 'Unbreakable: The First Story' and participation in the workshop 'Who saw the video' as part of the 'Pravo ljudski film festival' in Sarajevo, and participation in Sarajevo Film Festival ('TeenAction'), where I won a 'special mention' from the jury with the film 'Dystopia', which I made at that very workshop.

2015

The year 2015 is important because I made a short documentary film about the City Theater 'Jazavac', with which I participated in the Sarajevo Film Festival ('TeenAction'), but I also performed the play 'On Air' at the City Theater 'Jazavac'. There is also participation in the Students cuts festival in Zagreb.

2014

I shot the short film 'Possible Future Part 1', with which I participated in the Sarajevo Film Festival ('TeenAction') and the Serbian Fantasy Film Festival. I also performed the play 'Theatrical Etiquette' twice and published the book 'Protocol: Banja Luka'.

2013

In this year, I focused more on shooting short amateur films and enrolled in acting school at the City Theater 'Jazavac'. I also started writing my first book 'Protocol: Banja Luka'.

2012

It was the year of my first contact with acting because I played a school play in the RS National Theater ('Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs') and wrote more and more often and went to the cinema, where the desire to write and film in general arose.
